US Vice-President JD Vance expressed his belief in pursuing what he considers to be “God’s work,” acknowledging that his actions could possibly play a role in heralding the end times. In a recent podcast interview, Vance conveyed uncertainty about the current proximity to such apocalyptic events, suggesting that they could either be millennia away or unfold much sooner.
Vance speculated on the possibility of the Antichrist already being present among people today, citing modern societal trends that he finds concerning from a religious standpoint. He specifically criticized the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence for personal interactions, labeling this trend as “kind of satanic.” Vance emphasized the importance of genuine human connections, arguing that AI should not replace these fundamental relationships.
During the discussion, Vance also shared his experiences of encountering what he described as spiritual darkness in meetings with global leaders. He noted that certain conversations or remarks can trigger a “spiritual alarm bell” within him, indicating a sense of unease or moral conflict.
In addition, Vance defended President Donald Trump regarding an AI-generated image that depicted Trump in a Christ-like manner. He asserted that Trump had no intention of mocking Christianity or assuming a divine persona. According to Vance, the image was meant to be humorous rather than blasphemous.
